Perhaps River Street with so many great places such as Dubs, Cotton Exchange,Fiddler’s, Shrimp Factory, Riverhouse Seafood, Spanky’s, and Tubby’s. Maybe a ride on the riverboat followed by shrimp and grits at Baracudda Bob’s.. Moon River Brewing, Season’s and the Pirate’s house are within walking distance of a dozen downtown hotels.
Perhaps you take an excursion. On the south side after visiting Wormsloe- you may want to pick up some goodies from Nuts About Savannah at the mall. Or if you plan to Outlet shop hit exit 109 for seafood at Portside Seafood. Jalapeno’s is a favorite too. It could be you just need some sand between your toes on Tybee Island. Don’t forget to feed the alligators at the Crab Shack. On your way off the Island spend some time at the Flying Fish, a great place to enjoy yourself on the way to or from Tybee.
Siciliano’s is fun and a local favorite and no trip is complete in the south without BBQ from Papa’s. After golf on Wilmington Island the Crow Bar is a great place to go with friends.
An evening at Pearle’s overlooking the river and marsh may be just what the mood dictates or an evening at Billy’s place on McDonnough Street could be your plan? One thing is certain, there are plenty of great places to eat in Savannah. So spend as much time as you need–we’ll accommodate you!
