Fire has a very contemporary decor with great trendy music that creates a vibe that you do not often experience in Savannah. What makes this place different is its casual, quick service atmosphere and all-under-one-roof menu.
Fire is set up so that when you walk in you place your order and pay at the counter and the staff will bring out your food which allows for a casual atmosphere that lends itself to lower prices. Prices range from $2 for a side of rice to $14.95 for a wagyu burger or a braised duck, with most sandwiches and street eats falling in the $7-$9 range. My personal favorite is the Prime Burger with fries it is absolutely mouth watering. But before taking the first bite be sure to have plenty of napkins handy.
The menu pulls from as many as four Asian cuisines, which include Thai curries, Korean barbecue, Japanese sushi, and Chinese dumplings, all made fresh to order. There are plenty of vegetarian options too. The Fire House Salads (around $5.95) are particularly good with mixed greens, fresh ingredients such as cucumbers, tomatoes, berries, oranges, apples, nuts, and a housemade ginger dressing it is an explosion of flavour and very filling.
