The concept for The Crab Shack began in 1990. Prior to that it was just a sleepy little fishing camp with a boat hoist, boat storage, live bait sales and a bar in the ship’s store where the locals could congregate and exaggerate their catches at the end of a day’s fishing. My wife at the time, Belinda Flanigan, and I are licensed Captains and we ran fishing charters. Belinda (still my business partner) ran inshore while I ran offshore charters.

AMAZING! I love it, my kids love it, food is delish and the people are great, not to mention you get to eat outside by the water and get to see and feed gators!
