Nestled just a few miles from the Atlantic Ocean and dissected by numerous rivers and waterways, Savannah is a seafood lover’s paradise, with fresh, delicious fish and shellfish available all over the city. The best Seafood Restaurants in Savannah GA include:
Uncle Bubba’s Seafood & Oyster House is open for lunch and dinner seven days a week. The restaurant is located on the marsh and overlooks beautiful Turner’s Creek. We feature a full indoor and outdoor bar, traditional southern and coastal cuisine, and great service in a casual atmosphere. There are coastal views from every seat in the restaurant. We can also be a venue for any of your events!
Nestled in the heart of Sandfly lies one of the most closely guarded secrets when it comes to seafood restaurants. Away from the bustle of the Historic District lies Pearl’s Saltwater Grille, situated only fifteen minutes from downtown and provides plenty of parking. Pearl’s Saltwater Grille has been a local favorite for many years and Chef David Weikert’s menu is a seafood lover’s paradise. For fish, you can specify preparation or order from local or house specialties. From Parmesan Crusted Grouper to Crab Stuffed Flounder to Jumbo Grilled Caribbean Shrimp, there is something for everyone at Pearl’s. There is also a vast selection of fried seafood and steaks.
Let me begin by saying I live here and work in the tourism industry. So many visitors want to know “Where do the locals go?” Wisely we keep some treasures to ourselves. Desposito’s is one of them so if you sought it out on purpose and did not enjoy it, do not come back and take your negativity with you. That way there is more room for those of us that know a great place when we find it. The building itself is nostalgic, warm and cozy. You will NOT find a cleaner kitchen and resturaunt anywhere. The prices vary and there is no fried seafood. What they do serve is fresh seafood when it is in season and homemade sides.Every bite is better than the last. The crab cakes are the best in Savannah. I have never left this place but what I did not say it was money well spent. We love going and just relaxing and enjoying the great staff and owner David. There is no sign marking the place and I for one am glad. If you want a truly great relaxed and casual evening with plenty of delicious low country food and good company you are welcome! See you there. Review from Tripadvisor
